Newpark Music Centre announces Grace Tallon as its new Director
Speaking about her appointment, Ms Tallon stated “I am delighted to take up the position of Director in Newpark Music Centre, an institution that has made a hugely significant impact on music education in Ireland. Through my professional and personal involvement in the Irish arts scene over the last number of years I have witnessed first-hand the positive impact quality music education can have on lives. I believe passionately in the Arts and I look forward to shaping the future of Newpark Music Centre and broadening our remit."
Grace Tallon, studied at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and UCD and has been professionally involved in the Arts for 15 years as a musician, educator and producer. As co-founder of & Co., a collective with a focus on producing creative things to see and do she has worked with some of Irelands top tier artists. Grace has also worked as a project manager and PR consultant for a number of arts organisations and has lead and managed community arts programmes. Prior to this, she was a County Councillor on Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for 8 years. She is currently a member of the Sounding the Feminists working group.

Our mission is to provide quality music education for children and adults, to strive for excellence while focusing on enjoyment, to train both recreational and professional musicians and to foster a love of music in both.
Founded in 1979 to provide much needed music school facilities in south Dublin, Newpark Music Centre now caters for over 1000 students and is one of the largest private music schools in Dublin. While the emphasis is on learning music for enjoyment, students and choirs from the Music Centre have been extremely successful in competitions throughout the country. All exam syllabuses are covered up to and including diploma level and several specialised courses not available in other music schools are offered.

Saturday: 9am - 4pm
